With over a decade of experience as a Licensed Psychotherapist and Coach, Lori has developed deep wisdom and intuition. She is able to cut through the noise of relationships, and create the clarity needed for each couple to transcend conflict and discover true intimacy.  Lori’s coaching lens is built from an emphasis on strengths and understanding ourselves and relationships as complex systems.  We are not entities in a vacuum, but rather constantly influenced by our histories, cultures, stories, families, and peers. We are awesome mosaics, and the more we become familiar with our various facets, the more empowered we are to create, connect and love authentically and fully.

With over thirty years of clinical experience, Jeff has developed a broad perspective on the depths of the human experience. He offers compassion, understanding and unique insights into motivation and behavior. His contemplative foundation emphasizes mindfulness and the power of intention. He is equally skilled at developing an individual’s voice, power and confidence as he is working from a systemic perspective addressing elements of organizational effectiveness. He inspires creativity and imagination while empowering leadership and optimal performance. His transformative approach guides clients to edit their stories and rediscover their values.

I just wanted to thank you both so much for yesterday’s appointment. It really felt like a breakthrough session for us and we are so grateful. We continue to be so grateful for your loving care and support along this marriage journey.

Thank you Lori and Jeff for helping us get through some of the tough times during the wedding process that no one ever tells you about. We came to beautiful Aspen for your three-day intensive and couldn’t have asked for a more caring, insightful and genuine experience. You truly care about the work you do and skillfully model your belief in the power of love as a couple.

I so love my husband but we ran into some challenging issues about six months before our wedding. We’ve been to couples counseling before but I think we both were looking for the counselor to take our side and say that we were right. Jeff and Lori provide a dual perspective and amazing insight in their couple-to-couple approach so that we each felt heard, validated and supported. I highly recommend working with them even if everything seems like it’s going well — they are so good at addressing the many of the challenges that couples face throughout their relationships. They truly made our wedding experience that much more special as we both felt as though we were loved unconditionally by our partner. Thank you!

Amazing! Jeff and Lori were instrumental in getting my wife and I on the same page before our wedding. We had some minor hiccups along the way during the six months leading up to our wedding and some bigger ones as it got even closer. Jeff and Lori provided compassionate, expert structure, guidance and coaching around unspoken expectations we each of each other as well as helping to align our views on finances, family and the career/children balance. We will definitely continue working with them as we move into the next phase of our relationship.

It’s amazing what happens when everyone - including the two of you - shows up fully. Thank you. You have taught us how to use the fire we have to CREATE, not to DESTROY.

We started couples therapy with Lori and Jeff, we’ve had two sessions and find them extremely helpful.  We can already feel the communication between us be much clearer and without any hesitancy.  Thanks so much again for the referral, it’s a wonderful system as we both feel heard and attended to.

I have been meaning to reach out for some time after reading your columns for the last 15-18 months. I have found you both to be so thoughtful, intelligent and insightful. Thank you for writing your column.

We are excited to extend an invite to you both for our wedding. Please know that our day would not be the same as it soon will be without all the support and guidance you’ve both provided throughout our journey in the past few years. Thank you from the deepest parts of our hearts. And we look forward to continuing our learning experience with you as we enter our next and most exciting chapter. Thank you so much.

Thanks you guys! I was just thinking of our last meeting recently. It was very helpful. Especially part about looking clearly at ‘non-negotiables.’

Thank you for coming over at such short notice! You are both so talented, insightful, inspiring and work so well together. I really appreciated the way you each diligently, yet kindly, reeled me back in. I like the plan you have outlined for us. I really like that you said you know you can help us.

I have been through the course of two marriages and I have truly never met therapists as extraordinary as you. You are by far the most insightful. I had to say this because I feel so grateful that, regardless of how things turn out, I know we could not be in better hands. Thank you so very much.
— V. G.
Thank you both so much for your time yesterday, we both felt like it was a great help and start of a wonderful shift. Again, we are so grateful to you both and feel like you are both outstanding in what you do.

As a couples therapist for the past four decades, I’ve consulted with many colleagues about challenging cases. I’ve also done phenomenological research on the supervision of psychotherapy. Recently, I had the occasion to contact Jeff and Lori about a particularly confounding couple’s situation.

I was very impressed and helped by both the process and the content of their consultation. They bring a unique blend of personal experience, being a married couple, and as co-therapy partners for years in their clinical work. They seamlessly blend insight, humor, compassion, clarity and bring both male and female perspectives to their work.

I recommend them as highly for the supervision of couples therapists as I do for the lucky couples who seek their expertise for relationship coaching.

What I most appreciate about working with Lori is the actionable steps and game plan that we put into place in order to create lasting change in my life. I feel like I made so much progress in such a short amount of time. The shifts in my thought patterns, behavior and relationships are sizable- my friends even commented on the improvement they saw in my romantic relationship. Lori is kind and compassionate with a wealth of experience and knowledge. I feel secure knowing that she is in my corner for additional guidance as situations arise.

Hi Lori and Jeff,

I just want to say how much I appreciate your column in the paper. I am a widow of almost 10 years and started a relationship with a man over a year ago. It’s a new gig being older and dating in this town. The relationship is going very well, partly from your advice and being validated as well.

Thanks for sharing your expertise and great ideas. I am grateful for the tools to help nurture this new phase of my life.

You two are awesome.
— M. B.
Remember that you are extremely good at what you do and you have changed all of our lives in inestimable ways that will last a lifetime.
— P. F.
I want to thank you so much for your support, and help and care for us individually and as a team.
— D. T.
I’m contacting you to let you know how much I appreciated our work together. I honestly did feel happy and relieved because you read me to a “T” and really listened to things that no one has ever done before.
